Abstract Chato's land: a mestizo kills in self defense and then finds himself on the run from a posse determined to see him hang. Duel at Diablo: a revenge-minded scout helps a cavalry troop transport guns and ammunitions through Indian territory. Escort West: An ex-Confederate officer and his young daughter rescue two survivors of an Indian attack. The ride back: a sheriff has to bring an outlaw back across the Mexican border to stand trial for murder, and finds himself allied with the outlaw against a band of Apaches.
